Lily at Castaic (2015/2017)

B/W film shot, developed and printed by the artist in California Institute of the Arts dark room facilities during a summer long intensive in 2015. The final print was later used to create a series of carvings (linoleum and wood block) using artist written short stories to inform narratives. These were printed and completed in early 2016 using LACHSA and CSULA printmaking studios. The exterior floral print was borrowed from the artist's exploration into textiles and pattern, also printed using a linoleum carving. The accordion box and accompanying light installation (not pictured) were constructed for an exhibition at Mutmuz Gallery in Los Angeles, CA.
